It’s not over. It’s not too late. And what’s to come can be so magnificent, if we can but know that we are guided in every moment and learn to trust that guidance. There is a gap between what we know is possible in our lives and our current life circumstance. I think it’s a dance between the shadow self and the child within. That is to say, our child within and our aging human body. Our Child Within is Infinite, and yet we are limited. The play between these two co-existing realities creates the friction that can move life excitingly forward. We aspire, we aim to better ourselves, to reach a higher level – not because of the success of the money, but rather because – whether we know it or not – we aim to embody our Child Withins potential here on Earth. That potential is nothing short of Infinite. That our child within is the embodiment of Love. That potential means we are free. That potential is connected to  ourselves and others. That potential knows that we never walk alone and that we are indeed truly limitless. Yet – at the exact same time, we are limited. We are fragile. We are imperfect, broken at times and not connected. We are not free. It is the purpose of life to reconnect to our Child located within in what seems to be a limited life. To do this, we must begin to see the circumstances of our lives with the new eyes of our child within. We can choose to see that, even in hardship, we can find our Child hidden within. When we find our Child, we can know that we are not alone.  Our loneliness is our Child calling us. And that instead of medicating our pain in dissociation , to face it. We can find ourselves stuck. And we are stuck because we are not honouring this calling out of our Child. The way to honour our child is not just with green juice dissociation, gluten free food and yoga – but with our courageous contact. The fear of truthful action directed by ourselves that terrifies our mind. If we want to look at what we really know, look inside our actions and dissociations. Knowing something and understanding something are two different things. Let’s switch from understanding to embodying our child withins calling. Take that risk. Trust ourselves. Love ourselves. Embody our Child Withins calling. Take risks on behalf of our Child. We will become intuitively guided; we are and naturally have power and authority. The best is truly yet to come if we can but trust our intuitive voice. When it feels like nothing is happening, know that many times our Child is silently working within us before we can see anything change externally, but others can. Get in Contact. And know that in this moment – we are exactly where we’re supposed to be.

The child within is real.literally. physically.figuratively, metaphorically real.It is--like complexes in general--a psychological reality, An extraordinarily powerful one at that. Indeed, most mental disorders and destructive behaviour patterns are,related to this unconscious part of ourselves. We were all children, and still have that child dwelling within us. But most adults are quite unaware of this. And this lack of conscious relatedness to our own child within is precisely where so many of our behavioural, emotional and relationship difficulties stem from.

The Varieties of Religious Experience "The highest flights of charity, devotion, trust, patience, bravery to which the wings of human nature have spread themselves have been flown for religious ideals." 1: This is a study of the psychology of original religious experiences, not religious institutions. Religious geniuses have often shown nervous instability, such as George Fox or St Theresa. Medical materialism, sexual origins refuted. Perhaps the neurotic temperament is best to receive religious inspiration. 2: Religion is the feelings, acts, and experiences of individual men, in relation to whatever they consider divine, which is always solemn. Christian saints callous to disease in a unique way. Religious men alone have self-will happily subjected to the divine. 3: The deities are known only in idea. Kant and Plato suggest that human consciousness has sense of reality beyond any of the "senses", for instance in religious hallucinations, such as feeling a 'presence'. Automatism seems common. 4 & 5: There are 'once-born' people for whom happiness and optimism come naturally, eg Walt Whitman. Comfortable 'healthy-midedness' has overtaken the old hell-fire theology in Christianity, and is strong in the 'Mind-cure movement' or 'New Thought'. Different religions suit different people. 6 & 7: Many feel that the 'sick soul' needs curing, eg Luther, Tolstoy. Buddhism and Christianity are religions of deliverance: man must die to an unreal life before he can be born into the real life. 8: Many punish themselves for feeling that the self is divided into an evil and unhealthy and the good and godly, eg Augustine . 9 & 10: Many religions hold to conversion, where a self, wrong inferior and unhappy, becomes unified, right superior and happy, in consequence of its firmer hold upon religious realities. Conversion may wane, but so too can love. 11, 12 & 13: Saintly people have an energy and hopefulness, sometimes in excess, but always instructive to the rest of us., eg, Loyola, St Theresa, General Booth. 14 & 15: New religious ideas are heresies, but they can become stifling orthodoxy. Devoutness can become fanaticism, purity can be obsessive, tenderness and charity can become willingness to accept evil, and asceticism lead to self-torture. 16 &17 Mystical experiences briefly grant hugely significant revelations, and leave the mystic feeling as if his own will were in abeyance. They are incapable of being expressed in words, but of immense importance to these who have them. Hindu 'yoga', Buddhism, Suffism and Christian 'orison' offer methods of achieving them. 18: Philosophy cannot prove any religion true, but it can show up obvious errors and might begin a science of religions. 19: Prayer cannot change the physical world directly, but it can bring comfort and security. Many people have seemingly genuine experience of being directed by the divine, even if they may come from the 'B-region' of their own minds. 20: Psychologically, religion can grant new zest to life and give assurance of safety and love. The warring gods and formulas cancel each other, but there is a certain uniformity in an uneasiness about the self and its salvation through faith. NB: Personally, I agree in principle with the Buddhistic doctrine of Karma. For practical life, the chance of salvation is enough.

"The highest flights of charity, devotion, trust, patience, bravery to which the wings of human nature have spread themselves have been flown for religious ideals." 1: This is a study of the psychology of original religious experiences, not religious institutions. Religious geniuses have often shown nervous instability, such as George Fox or St Theresa. Medical materialism, sexual origins refuted. Perhaps the neurotic temperament is best to receive religious inspiration. 2: Religion is the feelings, acts, and experiences of individual men, in relation to whatever they consider divine, which is always solemn. Christian saints callous to disease in a unique way. Religious men alone have self-will happily subjected to the divine. 3: The deities are known only in idea. Kant and Plato suggest that human consciousness has sense of reality beyond any of the "senses", for instance in religious hallucinations, such as feeling a 'presence'. Automatism seems common. 4 & 5: There are 'once-born' people for whom happiness and optimism come naturally, eg Walt Whitman. Comfortable 'healthy-midedness' has overtaken the old hell-fire theology in Christianity, and is strong in the 'Mind-cure movement' or 'New Thought'. Different religions suit different people. 6 & 7: Many feel that the 'sick soul' needs curing, eg Luther, Tolstoy. Buddhism and Christianity are religions of deliverance: man must die to an unreal life before he can be born into the real life. 8: Many punish themselves for feeling that the self is divided into an evil and unhealthy and the good and godly, eg Augustine . 9 & 10: Many religions hold to conversion, where a self, wrong inferior and unhappy, becomes unified, right superior and happy, in consequence of its firmer hold upon religious realities. Conversion may wane, but so too can love. 11, 12 & 13: Saintly people have an energy and hopefulness, sometimes in excess, but always instructive to the rest of us., eg, Loyola, St Theresa, General Booth. 14 & 15: New religious ideas are heresies, but they can become stifling orthodoxy. Devoutness can become fanaticism, purity can be obsessive, tenderness and charity can become willingness to accept evil, and asceticism lead to self-torture. 16 &17 Mystical experiences briefly grant hugely significant revelations, and leave the mystic feeling as if his own will were in abeyance. They are incapable of being expressed in words, but of immense importance to these who have them. Hindu 'yoga', Buddhism, Suffism and Christian 'orison' offer methods of achieving them. 18: Philosophy cannot prove any religion true, but it can show up obvious errors and might begin a science of religions. 19: Prayer cannot change the physical world directly, but it can bring comfort and security. Many people have seemingly genuine experience of being directed by the divine, even if they may come from the 'B-region' of their own minds. 20: Psychologically, religion can grant new zest to life and give assurance of safety and love. The warring gods and formulas cancel each other, but there is a certain uniformity in an uneasiness about the self and its salvation through faith. NB: Personally, I agree in principle with the Buddhistic doctrine of Karma. For practical life, the chance of salvation is enough.
